First ever international school Virtual Recruitment Fair

As we all know, recruiting quality teachers for international schools is an increasing challenge. The market has become highly competitive and will continue to expand, making it even more so. The right teachers; with a good combination of skills, experience and language ability, are in huge demand. So how can schools make sure they continue to access enough quality teaching candidates to successfully fill their vacancies?

Recruitment solution is online

The vast majority of international school teachers today conduct their entire job hunt online. They search for vacancies, register with recruitment agencies, research schools of interest, conduct interviews, and finalise packages online. Being such a spread-out, global market, the digital medium is the ideal solution for connecting teaching candidates from all corners of the world with schools.

Now TIC is providing the chance for teachers and schools to attend an international school recruitment fair online.

User-friendly solution attracts global candidates

In March 2018, TIC will host one of the first ever international school Virtual Recruitment Fairs. The fair will bring together quality teacher candidates, many from the UK, as well as others from the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, all under one ‘virtual’ roof.

Unlike traditional recruitment fairs, there are no major financial or geographical barriers restricting attendance; a crucial benefit for any international school. It’s a solution already successfully employed by several global companies, including Amazon and Pfizer.

95% of teachers said yes!

Attending a virtual recruitment fair has grabbed the attention of many teachers. In a survey of TIC registered candidates, 95% said they would be intrigued and interested to attend a TIC Virtual Recruitment Fair. TIC has over 12,000 pre-vetted qualified, English-speaking teachers registered. A Virtual Fair provides the chance for international schools to meet, chat, interview and identify such quality candidates in an innovative, time-efficient and cost-effective new way.

It’s an exciting, common-sense new recruitment solution for reaching prospects from all over the world, and feedback suggests that many schools and candidates do not want to miss out.
