This international school in Kuala Lumpur is looking for an experienced I.T / Computer Science teacher to start in January 2019.
- Fully qualified teacher status with an internationally recognised teaching qualification.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Have knowledge and experience of teaching Computer Science at Key Stage 3 and IGCSE.
- The ability to deliver ICT at IGCSE for a short period would be an advantage but is not essential (this will gradually be phased out over the next two years).
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse groups of colleagues, parents and students.
- Possess humour, energy and the ability to positively contribute to the development of the school.

The new Early Years Centre (opened in September 2016) is a purpose built facility catering for students aged 3 – 5 years old. The vibrant and age appropriate learning spaces include large open-plan indoor spaces and exciting outdoor spaces including a sand pit, bike track, an adventure playground and mini jungle trail and a garden. The indoor areas are well equipped to provide endless learning experiences, all of which are complemented by carefully planned technology, including interactive multi-touch panels and iPads.
Primary classrooms at the school are bright, spacious and modern. Furniture is age appropriate and has been chosen to meet the needs of the range of subjects and activities offered in the Primary School. Typical classrooms include technologies such as interactive whiteboards, visualisers, iPads and computers. The use of iPads throughout the school enables seamless technology use.
The bright and modern secondary classrooms provide a stimulating environment for older students. Each is equipped with technologies suitable for the subject, such as interactive whiteboards, visualisers, and computers, and all provide versatile and comfortable age appropriate furniture.
The school is fortunate to have multiple spaces on-campus for different sports and PE lessons. Their Multi-Purpose hall, astroturf pitch and roof-top games areas provide for a wide range of activities. An additional sports hall and six lane swimming pool opened in 2017 expanding their on-site provision further. Students also get to use off-campus amenities at the RM60 million ParkCity Club. Students benefit from being able to use the tennis and badminton courts, lap pool and fun pool as well as the FIFA-size football field, athletics facilities and basketball courts.
Students have timetabled lessons in Music, Dance and Drama in the dedicated Performing Arts area. Their specialist rooms include dance studios, a Black Box Theatre, music and instrumental classrooms and 8 practice rooms. The Multi-Purpose Hall provides a venue for large-scale school productions and a range of other medium sized spaces around the campus also offer scope for smaller more intimate performances. The school also has well-equipped classrooms provided for students studying Art and Design or Design Technology enable them to deliver diverse Creative Arts opportunities. A range of tools are available including sewing machines, computers, a fully-equipped machine workshop and specialised arts resources.
There are seven purpose built science labs in the new core academic block, including those dedicated to Physics, Biology and Chemistry. Each is fitted out with modern equipment enabling students to study Science all the way through to A-Level. There is also a dedicated Primary Science laboratory available for our younger students to use.
