This international school in China is seeking an experienced PYP Homeroom teacher to start in August 2024.
Vacancy Requirements:
- Fully qualified teacher status with an internationally recognised teaching qualification.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- PYP experience preferred.
About the School
This international school established in 2006, provides the children of China’s global expatriate communities with a holistic educational experience that allows students to develop academically, socially and emotionally through the IBO programme and extensive Extra Curricular Activities. All students study a second language, most are bi-lingual and many study a third language.
The school caters for students from Nursery to Grade 12 and the German Section is Nursery to Grade 5. The school is located on a 30,000-square-meter landscaped campus in eastern Changchun. There are almost 520 students and more than 70 teachers from over 20 countries including over 60 students in DISC.
State of-the-art technology facilities including projectors, Smart boards, four Mac labs, three science labs, Lego robotics, two HTC Vive virtual reality systems, 3D printers, 3D plotter, drones, digital photography and video making, computer programming and more.
It is an IBO Continuum international school in north eastern China and is fully authorized by Provincial and Central Governments. Students learn through the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP).
Students have a wide range of opportunities to develop a range of soft skills and the IB Learner Profile Attributes outside of the classroom through the extensive Extra Curricular Activities programme. The school Houses and the Outdoor Education programme.
