About the School

This international school in Shanghai is a Chinese school offering K-12 bilingual education. Developed in collaboration with international curriculum experts, the school curriculum is a well-balanced programme that encompasses the Shanghai National Curriculum and elements of international leading education concepts and methodologies. We aim to provide the best integrated international education to our students.

Curriculum:
Alongside the core elements of Chinese language, literature and social studies, the curriculum ensures a focus on Chinese tradition and culture to allow our students to maintain their identity as Chinese citizens while taking on an international outlook. These programmes will be taught through inquiry and project-based learning.
English skills will be developed throughout the school from a young age. English language fluency is necessary for all students in the global society and helps to prepare students for future academic success. As children move up the school, more English programmes are offered to ensure that they are prepared for international examinations, which are taken in English.
The school curriculum combines the best part of Shanghai National Curriculum and the international recognized international curriculum, and then a challenging international, academic qualification which is fully recognised by, and gives access to, leading universities worldwide.

Facilities:
The purpose-built campus, completed in 2016, is a beautiful learning environment, with large, airy classrooms, science laboratories, a spacious library, and dedicated art rooms including a ceramics workshop. The campus has flexible indoor and outdoor learning spaces.
Students will also have access to state-of-the-art sports and performance facilities including a dedicated sports centre comprising an eight-lane Olympic-sized (50-metre) swimming pool, a triple gym set alongside a football field. The theatre, complete with dressing rooms and green room, seats up to 500 people.

The school understands that air quality can be a concern for families living in Shanghai, thus the school has a comprehensive air quality management policy.
The air within the buildings is monitored using a combination of fixed and portable air quality devices, whilst external air is measured using their own fixed outdoor monitor. They constantly track the quality of air in the vicinity of the sports field and this will inform whether students will proceed with outdoor activities for students.
