Welcome to the TIC Blog. This week we have some exciting late opportunities and some previews of more to come!

There’s Still Time to Work Overseas!

By May, most positions in international schools have been filled and those left behind have to wait until the next academic year. However, this week we secured opportunities in some incredibly exciting locations. If you’re still considering teaching in an international school, then your last chance could be an amazing one! Take a look at these new positions that have just become available:

Tunisia – Multiple Primary positions – Good package, 1 year contract offered, only 1 year experience considered
Slovenia – Head of English – Very good international school, 5+ years experience, UK National Curriculum experience needed
Russia – Multiple Early Years and Primary positions – Good school in Moscow
Kazakhstan – KS1 and Year 6 Positions – One of the best international schools in Asia, excellent package, 2 years experience required

To apply for any of these positions, make sure you have your TIC profile completed and totally up-to-date, then head over to our vacancies page. This could be the beginning of a fantastic last minute adventure!

TIC Visits New York

Just weeks after his appearance in the New York Times, TIC Director Andrew Wigford has travelled to visit the Big Apple in person! During his time in New York, Andrew will be going to some of the schools that TIC has built a good relationship with. The schools he will be visiting are WCL New York, which is one of the schools in the World Class Learning Group, and Brooklyn Prospects Charter School. Have a great time in New York, Andrew, and we hope you don't get too many autograph requests!

TIC Signs New Contract with Edron Academy

We are very pleased to announce that from the next academic year, Teachers International Consultancy will be handling all the recruitment for Edron Academy in Mexico. We have worked with Edron to place several teachers before and we hopethis new contract will strengthen a great relationship with such a respected school. Edron Academy and Wales-based TIC already have an international connection; Edron was founded in 1963 by Welshman Edward Foulkes! There is already a position for a KS1 teacher available at Edron; keep an eye out on our Vacancies page for more new positions at Edron in the next year. Mexico is a fanastic location to live and work, so it really is worth looking out for!
