Welcome to the TIC Blog! This week we've been featured in articles and been flying around the world.

Read All About It!

We're pleased to say that over the past few weeks we've been featured in a few articles.

TIC teacher Heather Tinsley was featured in Eurograduate Magazine. Eurograduate is one of the leading graduate magazines, offering advice about travel and international job prospects. In the article, Heather explains how TIC came to her university and opened her eyes to the opportunities in international education. The article also features advice from TIC Director Andrew Wigford on how student teachers can advance to working in an international school. The article is available to read here.

TIC was also featured on the Expat Exchange website in an article on Kazakhstan's education reforms. As one of the leading recruiters for the Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools, Expat Exchange worked with TIC to get a true insight into life in Kazakhstan. The article features interviews with teachers Ian Shotter and Corey Johnson, as well as quotes from Andrew. You can read more here.

Expat Exchange is one of the leading expatriate websites and we are proud to have a fantastic working relationship with them. The website contains great advice; from house hunting to pet shipping and everything in between. There are articles on how to settle in to a new country, insights into different cities and even the option to connect with other expatriate members. If you're getting ready to move overseas or are just considering it, Expat Exchange is a very helpful resource.

Also, TIC was featured in our local newspaper, The Penarth Times, which wrote about TIC's continued growth and our mention in New York Times! You can read the article here.

Mexico Calling

TIC Director Andrew Wigford regularly travels around the world to see potential partner schools first-hand. This allows TIC to ensure high quality placements and also build a good relationship with school leaders and recruitment teams. This photo was taken at the Latin American Heads Conference in Mexico City. Andrew was able to meet with Heads from some fanastic schools based in Latin America and we look forward to working with them in the near future. Keep an eye out for new vacancies there on our Vacancies page!
