This is the life for teachers in Malaysia

I am currently in Kuala Lumpur with Gemma, TIC’s Recruitment Manager, attending the FOBISIA conference. FOBISIA means the Federation of British International Schools in Asia – of which there are many, many schools. FOBISIA represents their best interests, and ensures the standards of the schools and their teachers remain high. It’s an excellent organisation and represents some exceptional international schools.

Gemma and I had lots of very good meetings with the Heads and senior leaders from these schools in order to identify more opportunities for teachers looking for jobs in the best international schools.

However, as is the case with life in international teaching, it’s not about all work and no play! We’ve also had a great time this week exploring the amazing sights and experiences of a fascinating country, along with monkeys and sea eagles!
