About the School
This international school in Myanmar has been providing outstanding American education with highly qualified international teachers to students and families in Myanmar for over 20 years. Students in High School take Advanced Placement (AP) courses and graduate with a US High School Diploma that is accepted in colleges and universities worldwide. In addition, they offer a large variety of activities in sports, music, and the arts.
The school is fully accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools – Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS-WASC).
The school is located about a 20 minute drive north of downtown Yangon. The elementary, middle, and high schools are all housed in separate and near-by purpose-built facilities. The middle and high schools are separated by a small residential area while the elementary school, which opened the beginning of the 2012-2013 academic year is located about a five minute walk near the main road. Each campus has a cafeteria, library, computer laboratory, playing field, playground, covered multi-purpose / basketball court and science laboratories.
