This international school in Havana is seeking an experienced secondary Chemistry teacher to start in August 2023. The ability to also teach DP Environmental systems and some Maths would also be an advantage.

About the School
This international school in Havana, Cuba was founded in 1965 and has been accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (N.E.A.S.C.) and the Council of International Schools (C.I.S.). The school currently has 430 full students enrolled from 63 different nationalities and 150 full-time faculty members.
The school caters for students from Early Years through to Grade 12, where children are taught in a caring environment with small class sizes (average teacher to pupil ratio is 1:11). The school has had more than 100 graduates since 2007 and also offers two distinct graduate degree programs.
This international school is the only accredited school for children of expatriates in Havana that offers education through the medium of the English language and has a unique and charming campus with student play areas and purpose built classrooms and other facilities, such as computer laboratories and library in addition to classrooms in the older original houses. The school is currently set over two campuses: Main Campus (Lower and Secondary Schools), and the Early Years Learning Center. A new campus will open for academic year 2017 - 2018.
Curriculum
Primary Section students prepare for IPC, IPM and English National Standards. Secondary Section students prepare for CIE's IGCSE examinations and the IBO's Diploma Programme. The school is accredited by New England Association of Schools and Colleges and the Council of International Schools.
