Each year we hold seminars around the UK for teachers interested in finding out more about working overseas.
They make an excellent introduction to international school teaching, and are especially useful for teachers who are interested in working abroad but are not sure how to find the right job. Over 90% of teachers who have attended a seminar found it very useful. Read the feedback from attendees.
The seminars are always led by ex-international school teachers and recruitment experts.
They cover a very wide range of topics related to international schools including curricula, types of schools, living overseas, teaching couples, family issues, salary packages, contracts, how to get a job, and interview tips.
You can also sign up for a one-to-one interview with a TIC consultant on the day.
The seminars are usually held on a Saturday at 1.30-4.30PM, and comprise a presentation, guest speakers and plenty of time for questions. There is usually a small administration charge to attend, and discounts for 'early birds' and students. As moving abroad is such a big decision, we invite non-teaching spouses/partners to attend at no charge.
To attend a seminar you must first register with us or contact janice@ticrecruitment.com for more information.
