More and more teachers are choosing to teach in Kazakhstan. Here's why...

It may not be the first place that comes to mind when you think about teaching abroad, but Kazakhstan has become an increasingly popular destination for expatriate teachers. Here are some of the reasons why:

1. You will live and work in a country that’s really different and unique in many ways

2. Everyone you tell will say ‘wow that’s amazing!’

3. You can play a significant part in the educational reform of a developing country

4. You can mentor teachers who are eager to find out about new ways of learning and teaching

5. You’ll be able to earn and save good money

6. You will be close enough to travel easily to some very unique countries such as Mongolia, Russia, Uzbekistan and China

7. There are great opportunities to teach Kazakhstan’s brightest students who are thirsty for knowledge and extremely respectful of their teachers

8. You will experience a very different way of life

9. Your teaching skills will make a real difference to a country

10. You can learn to speak Russian!
