Teach Somewhere Different

Many teachers and leaders approach us to help them find teaching opportunities in unique or unusual locations. Yes we can help!

Have you thought about working in Kazakhstan? It is an exciting, emerging, dynamic country which is currently going through significant educational reform. TIC is working with the Nazarbayev Intellectual School Network with schools located in the capital, Astana and many locations throughout Kazakhstan. A number of jobs are available here for qualified, experienced secondary teachers including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, ICT and Art. For more information about these jobs and feedback from teachers who are currently working and living in Kazakhstan, go to our Kazakhstan page.

How about teaching in Azerbaijan?  If you are looking for unique locations, then the city of Baku in Azerbaijan where one of the international schools that we are working with is located combines art, culture and all the influences of the oil boom too. The country is geographically and historically fascinating enjoying nine different climatic zones as well as mud volcanoes, salt lakes, spectacular mountains, prehistoric stone carvings, Persian history, Soviet occupation and more.  The international school in Baku is looking for experienced primary teachers and you can find out more on our European vacancies page.

And what about Tanzania? Not your typical location…the International School Moshi in Tanzania, Africa is located in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro and has a breathtaking view of the mountain. It is an IB World School and TIC is handling the recruitment of a new ICT/Design Technology secondary teacher for the school. For more information visit our African vacancies page.

There are many more opportunities available! Visit our Vacancies page for the latest placements.

Make the Most of the Experts

Teachers International Consultancy is there for you! To guide you through the complex process of finding teaching work in another country. TIC is there to support you; from your initial search right through to settling in to your new school and new country. And all this support is absolutely free.

TIC helped Mohammed Azhar move from Manchester, England to El Gouna, Egypt in 2012. Mohammed says: “The service provided by TIC was outstanding; it was very smooth and professional. Everything went perfectly. I’m lost for words how good TIC was. TIC listened to me, everything was made very clear, all my questions were answered. Considering this was the first time I’ve ever worked abroad, everything was new to me so there were a lot of questions. I could not have asked for more!”
